Safari Tanks customer, Danny Walton, recently did some long distance travelling on his 2007 DR650.
The first leg of Danny’s trip was 435 kilometres from Paraburdoo to Mt Augustas in Western Australia. The trip was on all gravel roads, and he says he comfortably sat on 110km/h.
He then refilled his tank at Mt Augustus for the 460km ride to Coral Bay.
“Both times I still had at least five litres of fuel remaining in the tank,” Danny says.
It’s great to see our customers out their using their bikes (and their tanks) to their full potential.
If you’ve got a story about your latest ride, we’d love to hear from you.
