This Safari Tank has been heavily field tested to ensure it meets durability in outback conditions and includes all ancillary parts including a B&B bash plate with accompanying mounting brackets.

Our tank fits all Tenere 700 models from 2019 onwards and comes in two configurations with either a single or dual EFI fuel pump.

Dual pump option does not include extra pump.  This is a Yamaha part 3B4-13907-13.

The tank comes without graphics. Purchasing these can be done from Kustom MX.

Yamaha Tenere 700 Rally Tank (45L) – Fitting Instructions Video

Our T700 45L twin tanks system are currently being field tested to ensure it meets durability in the outback conditions.

We are now finalising the sourcing of parts for the tank (eg. sump bash-plate, mounting brackets, etc) for an expected availability in the New Year.

Pricing for the tank will be at $3,300.

Our tank will fit 2019 through to current models and will come in two configurations (models):

1. Single EFI fuel pump installation (running the standard fuel pump).

2. Dual EFI fuel pump installation (running both the standard fuel pump and Yamaha’s larger (ATV) fuel pump).

Our fairing is a fibreglass construction which comes in white (can be painted) and will enhance the look of your Yamaha WR250R as well as give protection from the wind. Our fairing attaches to our 14L tank.

Yamaha WR250R 14 Litre Tank

Our long rang fuel tank for the Yamaha WR250R increases the fuel carrying capacity to 14 litres.

The increase almost doubles the capacity of the standard 7.5 litre fuel tank, giving the rider a fuel range of approximately 300-350 kilometres per tank.

The tank can be self-fitted, and its strong plastic construction has been made to the stringent quality control that Safari Tanks have become known for.

The tank offers a huge increase in fuel capacity over the standard fuel tanks – double, in fact – thus delivering a corresponding increase in fuel range, allowing owners to ride harder, for longer, between fuel stops.

 

Designed to closely replicate the standard bike’s ergonomics, the tank replaces the standard air box cover but retains the standard radiator shrouds. Air flow to the radiators is not affected. The tank is supplied with mounting hardware and instructions.

Yamaha Tenere 700 Tank (25L)

Our Yamaha Tenere 700 (XTZ690) fuel tank holds 25 litres giving you a range of 420-450 kilometres in adventure conditions or up to 500 kilometres when conserving fuel usage

The tank has been thoroughly field tested in the Outback by Dakar rider Rod Faggattor, and was proven to have little impact on the overall design and ergonomics of the bike. It also compliments the Tenere 700’s original styling.
